Allt Arais is a bed and breakfast located on the picturesque Hebridean Isle of Raasay, run by Anda and Ronnie Nicolson. The Isle of Raasay lies off of the east coast of the Isle of Skye, accessible by a regular 25 minute CalMac ferry service.
Our luxury bed and breakfast accommodation is centrally located on the island, just outside of the main village of Inverarish. Allt Arais is easily accessible from the ferry terminal, is on the door step of local amenities and offers easy access to walking routes, tourist attractions and Raasay House bar and restaurant.
Our 3 luxury ensuite bedrooms feature contemporary decor and modern touches including free WiFi throughout. 2 of our bedrooms offer views over the Sound of Raasay to the Cuillin mountain range on the Isle of Skye.
A continental or cooked Scottish breakfast is included each morning of your stay. All guests staying with us have access our cosy lounge with wood burning stove, tv with Freeview and a range of local guides and other reading materials, as well as the sun room which offers views over to the Isle of Skye.
The Isle of Raasay, one of the Inner Hebrides, is located between the Isle of Skye and Applecross on the Scottish mainland of Wester Ross. Raasay is well connected to the Isle of Skye by a short 25 minute scenic ferry connecting Sconser ferry terminal on Skye to Churchton Bay ferry terminal on Raasay.
Raasay is ideally suited to those with a love of the outdoors and wildlife, with excellent walks and trails where one can experience the peace and tranquility of the island.
